నాలుగు కార్మిక చట్టాలకు వ్యతిరేకంగా నిరవధిక సమ్మెకు పిలుపునివ్వాలంటూ రైల్వే ఉద్యోగుల మధ్య ప్రచారం
ఫాసిస్టు మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం అమలుపరచడానికి పూనుకున్న కార్మిక-వ్యతిరేక నాలుగు లేబర్ కోడ్ ల గురించి మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ సభ్యులు డిసెంబర్ 15న సౌత్ సెంట్రల్ రైల్వే డివిజనల్ ట్రైనింగ్ ప్రోగ్రాంలో అక్కడి ఉద్యోగులతో పంచుకున్నారు. దీనికి ముందు డిసెంబర్ 12న కూడా సౌత్ సెంట్రల్ రైల్వే వర్కర్స్ యూనియన్ ఉద్యోగులతో బిగుల్ సభ్యులు మాట్లాడి, స్వతంత్ర భారతదేశంలోని కార్మిక ఉద్యమ చరిత్రలో ఈ నాలుగు లేబర్ కోడ్ లు కార్మిక హక్కులపై ఎందుకు అతిపెద్ద దెబ్బ అన్న అంశంపై వారితో చర్చించారు.
రైల్వే ఉద్యోగుల డివిజనల్ శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమంలో, రైల్వే ఉద్యోగులను ఉద్దేశిస్తూ బిగుల్ సభ్యులు ప్రసంగించారు. ప్రసంగంలో, ఉద్యోగులకు, యూనియన్ సభ్యులకు, లేబర్ కోడ్ లపై జరుగుతున్న ప్రచారం వెనుక ఉన్న వాస్తవికత గురించి తెలియజేశారు. లేబర్ కోడ్ లు ప్రస్తుత కార్మిక హక్కులపై పలు విధాలుగా దాడి చేస్తున్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. అందులో ఒకటి, 8 గంటల పని దినం. ఒక రోజులో ఉండవలసిన పని గంటల సంఖ్యపై పరిమితి తొలగించబడినందున, యజమాని ఇప్పుడు ఒక్క రోజులో పని గంటల సంఖ్యను పెంచవచ్చు. ఇది పని దినాన్ని పెంచడమే కాకుండా ఓవర్ టైం కోసం ఎటువంటి అవకాశాన్ని మిగల్చదు. అందువల్ల ఓవర్ టైం గానీ, దానికి అందవలసిన డబల్ రేటు చెల్లింపు గానీ అమలు చేసే ప్రసక్తే ఉండదు. రెండవది, వారి సమ్మె చేసే హక్కును నీరుగార్చారు. ఎందుకంటే కొత్త కోడ్ ల ప్రకారం, ఉద్యోగులు సమ్మె చేయడానికి ముందు 60 రోజుల వరకు నోటీసు వ్యవధి ఇవ్వవలసిన అవసరం ఉంది. అంతేకాకుండా, ఏదైనా వర్కింగ్ డే రోజున 50% కంటే ఎక్కువ మంది ఉద్యోగులు హాజరుకాకపోవడాన్ని చట్టవిరుద్ధ సమ్మెగా పరిగణిస్తారు. ‘ఫిక్స్డ్ టర్మ్ ఎంప్లాయ్మెంట్’ కుట్ర కూడా కార్మికుల హక్కులపై దాడి చేసే మరో అంశం. ఇది కార్మికుల శాశ్వత ఉపాధి హక్కుపై దెబ్బ. ఈ లేబర్ కోడ్ ల ప్రకారం, ప్రభుత్వం మరియు యజమానులు, ఉద్యోగులకు పిఎఫ్, ఇఎస్ఐ, గ్రాట్యుటీ మరియు పెన్షన్ వంటి ప్రయోజనాలను తప్పనిసరిగా ఇవ్వడం నుండి మినహాయించబడ్డారు.
అనంతరం, బిగుల్ సభ్యులు, ఎస్. సి. ఆర్. ఎం. యు. డివిజనల్ సెక్రటరీకి ఒక లేఖను అందజేశారు. నిరవధిక సార్వత్రిక సమ్మెకు పిలుపునివ్వడంలో అన్ని యూనియన్లు ఐక్యంగా నిలబడవలసిన అవసరం గురించి ప్రస్తావిస్తూ, తమ యూనియన్ లో కూడా నిరవధిక సార్వత్రిక సమ్మె కై పిలుపునివ్వడం కోసం చర్చ జరపాలని, మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ కూడా ఈ పోరాటంలో తమ పూర్తి శక్తితో వారికి మద్దతు ఇస్తుందని తెలిపారు. దీనిని తమ యూనియన్ కు చెందిన కార్మికులు మాత్రమే కాకుండా ఇతర కార్మికులందరూ స్వాగతిస్తారని అన్నారు.
రాబోయే రోజుల్లో కూడా మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ ఈ ప్రచారాలను కొనసాగిస్తూ, నిరవధిక సార్వత్రిక సమ్మె సందేశాన్ని సాధ్యమైనన్ని యూనియన్లు, కార్మికులకు చేరవేయడానికి కృషి చేస్తుంది.

Campaign amongst railway employees to give a call for an indefinite strike against the four labour codes

Mazdoor Bigul participated in railway workers divisional training program on 15th December, 2025, and discussed about the anti-worker four labour codes set to be implemented by the fascist Modi government. Bigul members had earlier held a campaign among the South Central Railway Workers Union employees on 12th December and discussed with them why these four labour codes are the biggest blow to labour rights ever in the history of the labour movement in independent India.
Bigul members addressed the railway employees at their divisional training program. In the speech, employees and union members were informed about the reality behind the propaganda. It was mentioned that the labour codes are a blow to the existing labour rights in many ways. One of them is the 8 hour work day. Since the cap on the number of working hours per day has been removed, the employer can now increase the number of working hours per day. This not just increases the work day but also leaves no scope for overtime, let alone double payment for overtime. Secondly, their right to strike has been weakened, since according to the new codes, a notice period of up to 60 days is needed before employees can go on strike. Moreover, more than 50% employees not being present on a working day will be considered a strike and illegal. Another point of attack on workers’ rights is the ‘Fixed term employment’ ploy which is a blow on the right to permanent employment of workers. It was also mentioned that now, the government and the employer has been now exempted from mandatorily giving benefits like PF, ESI, gratuity and pension to employees.
Later, a letter was handed over to the Divisional Secretary of SCRMU, emphasizing the need for all unions to stand united in giving a call for an indefinite general strike, persuading their union too to do same, assuring that Mazdoor Bigul too will support them with all its strength in this struggle. It was also mentioned that this will be welcomed by not just the workers from their union but by all other workers in general.
Mazdoor Bigul will continue to run these campaigns in the coming months and will strive towards taking the message of an indefinite general strike to all unions and workers possible.
