లేబర్ కోడ్స్ వెనక్కి కొట్టేందుకు నిరవధిక సార్వత్రిక సమ్మె ఒక్కటే మార్గం!!
మార్చి 30, 31వ తారీఖుల్లో మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ కార్యకర్తలు విశాఖపట్నం పోర్ట్, వైజాగ్ స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ వద్ద లేబర్ కోడ్స్‌కి వ్యతిరేకంగా క్యాంపెయిన్ నిర్వహించారు. ఫాసిస్ట్ మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం పెట్టుబడిదారుల లాభాల కోసం తీసుకువచ్చిన నాలుగు లేబర్ కోడ్లకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఫిబ్రవరి 12న జరిగిన “ఒక రోజు సమ్మె” వలన ఉద్యోగులకు, కార్మికులకు ఒరిగిందేమీ లేదన్నారు.
ప్రయివేటీకరణ, కాంట్రాక్టీకరణ విధానాలకు వ్యతిరేకంగా గత ముప్పై సంవత్సరాలుగా చేస్తూ వచ్చిన ఒకరోజు, రెండ్రోజుల సమ్మెలు ఫలితం ఇవ్వలేదు. ఇప్పుడు మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం లేబర్ కోడ్స్ రూపంలో కార్మిక, ఉద్యోగ హక్కులపై స్వతంత్ర భారత చరిత్రలోనే అతిపెద్ద దాడి చేస్తోంది. దీనికి వ్యతిరేకంగా మళ్ళీ విఫలమైన ఒకరోజు సమ్మె ఎత్తుగడనే ఎంచుకోవడం పట్ల, ఆ ఒకరోజు సమ్మె జరిగిన తీరు పట్ల కార్మికులు, ఉద్యోగుల్లో తీవ్రమైన నిరాశ అలముకొంది. అది ట్రేడ్ యూనియన్ల పట్ల కోపంగా మారడానికి ఎక్కువ సమయం పట్టదు.
ట్రేడ్ యూనియన్లు ముందుకి వచ్చినా రాకపోయినా తమ హక్కులని కాపాడుకునేందుకు కార్మికులు ముందుకు కదులుతారని గత నెల రోజుల్లో జరిగిన పానిపట్ రిఫైనరీ, గుజరాత్ స్టీల్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ పోరాటాలు మనకు చెబుతున్నాయి. అయితే ఈ పోరాటాలు సరైన దిశగా సాగడానికి ఒక సరైన నాయకత్వం యొక్క అవసరం ఉంది. ఇటువంటి నాయకత్వాన్ని సెంట్రల్ ట్రేడ్ యూనియన్లు ఇవ్వలేను పక్షంలో కార్మికులు, ఉద్యోగులే ఒక స్వతంత్ర నాయకత్వాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసుకోవాలి. ఇటువంటి ప్రయత్నాలన్నిటిలోనూ మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ కార్మికులకు, ఉద్యోగులకు మద్దతుగా నిలబడుతుందని ఈ సందర్భంగా బిగుల్ కార్యకర్తలు కార్మికులకి, ఉద్యోగులకి వివరించారు.

An indefinite general strike is the only way to defeat the Labour Codes!!

 

On March 30 and 31, Mazdoor Bigul activists conducted a campaign against the Labour Codes at the Visakhapatnam Port and Vizag Steel Plant. They stated that the “one-day strike” held on February 12 against the four Labour Codes, introduced by the fascist Modi government to serve the profits of capitalists, did not bring any benefit to employees or workers.
For the past thirty years, one-day or two-day strikes against policies of privatization and contractualization have failed to yield results. Now, in the form of the Labour Codes, the Modi government is launching the biggest attack on workers’ and employees’ rights in the history of independent India. There is deep disappointment among workers and employees over once again choosing the failed tactic of a one-day strike, as well as the way that strike was conducted. It will not take long for this disappointment to turn into anger against the trade unions.
Whether trade unions come forward or not, the struggles at the Panipat Refinery and the Gujarat steel factory over the past month show that workers will move forward to defend their rights. However, for these struggles to move in the right direction, proper leadership is necessary. If the central trade unions fail to provide such leadership, workers and employees must develop an independent leadership themselves. Mazdoor Bigul activists explained on this occasion that they will stand in support of workers and employees in all such efforts.
