ఆదివారం, జనవరి 25వ తేదీన మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్, నవజవాన్ భారత్ సభ కార్యకర్తలు విశాఖపట్నంలోని మద్దిలపాలెం బస్ డిపో, పెదజాలరిపేట ప్రాంతాల్లో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకువచ్చిన నాలుగు లేబర్ కోడ్‌లకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ప్రచార కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు.
తమ బాసులైన పెట్టుబడిదారులు కార్మికులను, ఉద్యోగులను మరింత దోచుకునేందుకు అవకాశం కల్పిస్తూ కేంద్రంలోని ఫాసిస్టు ఆర్ఎస్ఎస్-బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వం నాలుగు కొత్త లేబర్ కోడ్‌లను అమలుపరచేందుకు రంగం సిద్ధం చేసింది. పైగా, అసంఘటిత రంగ కార్మికులకు కూడా ఈ చట్టాల ద్వారా హక్కులు కల్పిస్తున్నామని మాయ మాటలు చెబుతోంది.
వాస్తవానికి ఈ లేబర్ కోడ్‌ల ద్వారా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం 150 ఏళ్ళ క్రితమే కార్మికవర్గం అతిగొప్ప త్యాగాల ద్వారా సాధించుకున్న 8 గంటల పని దినమనే హక్కును కూడా నాశనం చేస్తోంది. కనీస వేతనాలను అతితక్కువకి కుదించివేస్తోంది. పర్మనెంట్ ఉద్యోగాలను పర్మనెంట్‌గా లేకుండా చేస్తోంది. దేశంలోని మెజారిటీ ప్రజలను ప్రభావితం చేసే ఈ చట్టాల గురించి ప్రతిపక్ష పార్టీలు కూడా మౌనంగా ఉన్నాయని, దానికి కారణం అవన్నీ పెట్టుబడిదారులు, యాజమానుల పార్టీలు కావడమేనని బిగుల్ ,NBS కార్యకర్తలు కార్మికులు, ఉద్యోగులకు వివరించారు. వారి మోచేతి నీళ్ళు తాగే మీడియా కూడా ఈ విషయం గురించి చర్చించడం లేదన్నారు.
కొత్త లేబర్ కోడ్‌లు కనుక అమలయితే ఇన్నాళ్ళూ కనీసం పేపర్ మీదయినా ఉన్న హక్కులు కూడా నాశనం అవుతాయన్నారు. అప్పుడు కార్మికవర్గం సంఘటితం అయినా తమ హక్కులు సాధించుకోవడం చాలా కష్టం అవుతుందన్నారు. కాబట్టి ఈరోజు చరిత్రలో ఎన్నడూ చూడనటువంటి పెద్ద పోరాటాన్ని నిర్మించడం అత్యవసరం అని వివరించారు. మోదీ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఈ లేబర్ కోడ్‌లు వెనక్కి తీసుకునేలా చేయడానికి నిరవధిక సార్వత్రిక సమ్మె చేయడమొక్కటే మార్గమన్నారు.
ఫిబ్రవరి 12న సెంట్రల్ ట్రేడ్ యూనియన్లు పిలుపిచ్చిన ఒకరోజు సమ్మెను నిరవధిక సమ్మెగా మార్చేలా తమతమ యూనియన్లపై ఒత్తిడి తీసుకురావాలని ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికులకు, ఉద్యోగులకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఈ సమ్మెలో పాల్గొనడంతో పాటు సాధ్యమైనన్ని రకాలుగా మద్దతు పలకాలని పెదజాలరిపేటలోని శ్రామిక ప్రజలకు బిగుల్, నవజవాన్ భారత్ సభ కార్యకర్తలు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

On Sunday, January 25, activists of Mazdoor Bigul and the Naujawan Bharat Sabha conducted a campaign against the four labour codes introduced by the central government at the Maddilapalem bus depot and the working class neighbourhood of Pedajalaripeta in Visakhapatnam.
They explained to the workers that the fascist RSS–BJP government at the Centre has prepared the ground to implement four new labour codes to help their actual bosses, the capitalists, to further exploit workers and employees. At the same time, the government is making deceptive claims that these codes provide rights even to workers in the unorganised sector.
In reality, through these labour codes, the central government is destroying even the right to an eight-hour workday, which the working class had won through immense sacrifices more than 150 years ago. Minimum wages are being pushed down to extremely low levels, and permanent jobs as we know them are being destroyed. The activists of Bigul and NBS explained to workers and employees that even opposition parties are silent about the codes that affect the vast majority of the country’s people, because they too are parties of capitalists and employers. They also pointed out that the media, which is a lapdog of those in power, is not discussing this issue either.
They warned that if the new labour codes are implemented, even the rights that exist at least on paper today will be destroyed. In such a situation, even if the working class organises, it will become extremely difficult to secure its rights. Therefore, they said, it is urgently necessary to build a massive struggle unprecedented in history. They asserted that the only way to force the Modi government to withdraw these labour codes is through an indefinite general strike.
They appealed to the RTC workers and employees to put pressure on their respective unions to turn the one-day general strike called by the central trade unions on February 12 into an indefinite general strike. Along with participating in the strike, activists of Bigul and the Naujawan Bharat Sabha also appealed to the working people of Pedajalaripeta to extend support in all possible ways.
