On Thursday, February 12, activists of Mazdoor Bigul along with Sraamika Hakkula Porata Sangham (SHPS), actively took part in a rally from Radham Centre to Lenin Centre in Vijayawada as part of the nationwide strike to withdraw the four labor codes brought in by the central government. Activists urged workers and employees from various sectors participating in the strike to prepare for an indefinite general strike while making the February 12 one-day strike a success.
The activists said the new labor laws brought by the fascist Modi government have given capitalists the right to exploit workers and employees more legally, overturning the rights that have been achieved as a result of years of struggle. In this context, limiting the strike to just one day will not have any impact on the government. The only way we can stop the Modi government which is preparing to implement these new labor laws from April 1 is an “indefinite general strike”. They appealed to all workers to be united and prepare for an indefinite strike.
గురువారం, ఫిబ్రవరి 12న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చిన నాలుగు లేబర్ కోడ్స్ వెనక్కి తీసుకోవాలంటూ జరిగిన దేశవ్యాప్త సమ్మెలో భాగంగా విజయవాడలోని రధం సెంటర్ నుండి లెనిన్ సెంటర్ వరకు జరిగిన ర్యాలీ ప్రదర్శనలో శ్రామిక హక్కుల పోరాట సంఘం(SHPS) కార్యకర్తలతో పాటు మజ్దూర్ బిగుల్ కార్యకర్తలు చురుకుగా పాల్గొన్నారు. సమ్మెలో పాల్గొన్న వివిధ రంగాల కార్మిక-ఉద్యోగులకు ఫిబ్రవరి 12 ఒకరోజు సమ్మెను విజయవంతం చేస్తూనే నిరవధిక సార్వాత్రిక సమ్మెకు సిద్ధమవుదాము అని నొక్కి చెప్పారు.
ఎన్నో ఏళ్ల పోరాటాల ఫలితంగా సాధించుకున్న హక్కులను కాలరాస్తూ యాజమానులకు కార్మిక-ఉద్యోగులను చట్టభద్ధంగా మరింత దోపిడీ చేసే హక్కును ఫాసిస్టు మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం తెచ్చిన ఈ కొత్త కార్మిక చట్టలు ఇస్తున్నాయని అన్నారు. ఈ సందర్బంగా కేవలం ఒక రోజు సమ్మెగా పరిమితం చెయ్యడం వలన ప్రభుత్వంపై ఎటువంటి ప్రభావం చూపడం లేదు అనేది అర్ధం అవుతుంది. ఏప్రిల్ 1 నుండి ఈ కొత్త కార్మిక చట్టాలను అమలు చేసేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్న మోదీ ప్రభుత్వన్ని అడ్డుకునేందుకు మనకు మిగిలిన ఒక్కటే దారి నిరవధిక సార్వాత్రిక సమ్మె అని వివరించారు. కార్మికులు, ఉద్యోగులు అందరూ ఐక్యం అయి నిరవధిక సార్వాత్రిక సమ్మెకు సిద్ధం అవ్వాలి అని పిలుపినిచ్చారు.
